Litigator | Background and Affiliations Attorney Torres attended Georgetown University and obtained a B.A. in History and a minor in Theological Studies in 1991. She was a History Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami from 1991 to 1993. She then attended Florida State University's College of Law, graduating with Honors in 1996. At Florida State, Attorney Torres was a Notes & Comments Editor for the Florida State University Law Review and a faculty ressearch assistant. Additionally, she earned the prestigious Book Award for her superior performance in Trial Practice and Transactional Legal Spanish. Currently, Attorney Torres is a member of the Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Cuban American Bar Association. In addition to her professional affiliations, she is actively involved in the pro bono representation of children through Lawyers for Children America. Attorney Torres is admitted to practice before all the Courts of the State of Florida, as well as the US District Courts of the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the US Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Attorney Torres was born and raised in Miami, a first-generation Cuban American. She is now married and has four children. She is actively involved in her childrens' school's PTA. Most importantly, she cares about the people she serves and all the people of this community, she greatly enjoys the practice of law, and is dedicated to the honest and zealous representation of her clients.
